The notoriously wild, little-understood Papua New Guinea produces surprisingly sweet and pleasing Arabica coffees. Although Papua New Guinea coffees were little known in the United States until fairly recently (Papua New Guinea produces only about 1% of the world's Arabica coffee), their popularity is growing rapidly as a rusult of their outstanding cup characteristics. Papua New Guinea coffees offer a lightly acidic, almost maple-sweet coffee with a heavy, fragrant follow-through.
